COVID-19: What We Are Doing About It
It’s all over the news… Coronavirus (COVID-19) has got the UK on ‘lock-down’. The Government is asking anyone who shows certain symptoms to self-isolate for seven days, regardless of whether they have travelled to affected areas.
If you’re working from home, and/or taking time off work due to the coronavirus breakout, try to use the time to keep yourself fit and well by eating healthy well-balanced meals and making some time to exercise in the comfort of your home.
We are taking every precaution in-house to make sure all our clients’ health is at the forefront. Appointments will continue on a usual basis until further notice as we feel our services and support systems are needed at such a crucial time.
Here are some of the extra measures we’re taking into immediate effect:
- All upcoming appointments will require a consultation form to be completed until further notice to help reduce and eliminate the chances of cross-infection.
- Touch-free hand sanitisers are available for you wthin our facility to use at your convenience (reception, toilet and all treatment rooms).
- Disposable hand paper towels are replacing our fabric towels in our toilet for hand drying purposes. Please dispose all paper towels and tissues correctly in the bins provided on your visit to us.
- Guidance leaflets will be available and distributed on coronavirus health and safety prevention and care.
- We’re installing an autonomous dehumidifier and air purifier with HEPA filters for virus and bacteria elimination.
If you would like further advice or guidance on any concerns you may have about your appointment, or booking an appointment with us, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist you.
If you have any concerns about coronavirus or feel that you might be affected, it is in your best interest and everyone’s that you notify your GP at your earliest convenience or visit the NHS website for further guidance.
